Bank of Maharashtra slips for fifth straight session

Bank of Maharashtra is down for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 18, down 2.17% on the day as on 13:24 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 2% on the day, quoting at 17126.35. The Sensex is at 56983.74, down 2.32%.Bank of Maharashtra has added around 0.84% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty PSU Bank index of which Bank of Maharashtra is a constituent, has increased around 3.73% in last one month and is currently quoting at 2900.7, down 3.03% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 17.15 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 53.16 lakh shares in last one month.

The PE of the stock is 12.87 based on TTM earnings ending December 21.
