BEML's stock rises on execution of US $19.76 million order for Cameroon's MINEPAT

BEML Limited, a Defence Public Sector Undertaking, is carrying out an order for the supply of construction equipment for the Cameroon Cassava project.

Amit Banerjee, CMD BEML, and Harsha Bangari, Managing Director & CEO, Exim Bank of India presented the equipment to Zoutene Doufene, Director General, MINEPAT, Government of Cameroon, at a ceremony held at BEML’s KGF Complex.

MV Rajasekhar, Director (Mining & Construction) BEML, Senior Cameroon officials, Exim Bank of India, and BEML officials, were present at the execution.

BEML is executing an export order worth USD 19.76 million (approx. Rs157 crore) with Cameroon’s Ministry of Economy, Planning, and Regional Development (MINEPAT) for the supply of 71 earth-moving machines for the preparation of agricultural land for the Cassava Project under the Government of India’s credit line.

At around 12.07 PM, BEML Ltd was trading at Rs1,533.60 per piece, up by 0.03% from its previous closing of Rs1,533.20 on the BSE. The scrip touched intraday high and low of Rs1,561.90 and Rs1,524 respectively.
