Bharat Bond ETFs now have AUM of Rs 50,000 crore

Three years after their debut, the Bharat Bond Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) have amassed assets under management (AUM) of more than Rs 50,000 crore, according to a statement released on Wednesday by Edelweiss Mutual Fund.
Bharat Bond ETFs’ initial offering was introduced in December 2019. The fund house has since released four additional tranches. Government-sponsored and run by Edelweiss MF is the Bharat Bond ETF.

“The success of Bharat Bond ETFs is a testimonial to the fiscal stability of PSUs and the confidence they foster in investors. We are delighted with the outstanding results of our first debt ETF. Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Secretary DIPAM, Ministry of Finance, stated, “We at DIPAM and Edelweiss Mutual Fund, who have worked hard to make the Bharat Bond ETFs relevant and popular among retail investors, are celebrating this milestone with pride.
