As per the latest announcement from BPCL, the company has recently rolled out 19 electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging corridors across 15 highways that run through Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

The corridors feature an EV fast-charging station located at roughly every 100 km, as stated by a senior BPCL official during a recent event.

BPCL has created several electric corridors consisting of 110 fuel stations where the 19 fast-charging stations have been strategically installed, according to a company official.

These corridors aim to provide seamless connectivity and uninterrupted charging options to EV users traveling across Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

According to P.S. Ravi, BPCL’s Executive Director Incharge of Retail, the company has introduced a total of 19 fast-charging stations across three electric corridors with 19 fuel stations in Kerala, six electric corridors with 33 fuel stations in Karnataka. Further, it has planned 10 electric corridors with 58 fuel stations in Tamil Nadu.

According to P.S. Ravi, BPCL’s Executive Director Incharge of Retail, the newly launched fast-charging stations are designed to be user-friendly and can be easily operated without manual assistance.
