Bridgestone India announced on October 10 that it has partnered with Tata Power to install EV chargers for four-wheelers at its dealerships across the nation. According to Bridgestone India, Tata Power would install 25/30 kWh capacity DC fast chargers capable of charging a four-wheeler in one hour, allowing 20-24 vehicles to be charged in a day.
The chargers will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, according to the business. As a globally trusted partner in the mobility space, Bridgestone is always striving to provide solutions for journeys. Bridgestone India Chief Commercial Officer Rajarshi Moitra commented, ‘this joint initiative with Tata Power is a reflection of our commitment.’
Bridgestone customers and all EV owners will be able to use the chargers. The collaboration with Bridgestone India exemplifies our commitment to facilitating the electric vehicle revolution by fostering innovation and collaboration, said Virendra Goyal, Head Business Development (EV Charging) at Tata Power.
Tata Power will assist with installation and charging, as well as maintenance, remote vehicle charge monitoring, and e-payments via the EZ Charge smartphone application. Furthermore, the Tata Power EV Charging mobile app will assist customers in locating charging stations, receiving charging updates, and receiving online payment advice.
