Britannia aims to grow its cheese business fivefold in the next five years

2 Dec 2022 , 06:29 AM

Britannia Industries, a bakery goods firm, anticipates that sales of its cheese products will increase more than fivefold in the next five years, reaching roughly Rs 1,250 crore.
The company, which established a joint venture with the French cheese maker Bel earlier this week, now generates roughly Rs 250 crore in revenue from its cheese division.
It is hoped that commodity prices will be brought under control in the future, with palm oil prices softening and sugar prices remaining stable despite rising wheat prices.
