BSE adds 1 crore new investor accounts to its platform in the past 5 months

The world’s largest stock exchange, BSE, reported on Tuesday that it hadsadded 1 crore registered investor accounts to its platform in 148 days, bringing the total to 12 crore.

Between July 18 and December 13, the exchange added 1 crore investor accounts, the BSE stated in a statement Comparatively, the prior milestones, worth 11 crore, 10 crore, 9 crore, and 8 crore, respectively, required an exchange in 124, 91, 85, and 107 days. According to the Unique Client Code (UCC), BSE reached the 12-crore mark on December 13, 2022, according to the exchange.

Investor’s age group:

20-30 age: 23%

30-40 age: 42%

40-50 age: 11%

Investors across states:

Maharastra: 20%

Gujarat: 10%

Uttar Pradesh: 9%

Rajastan & Tamil Nadu: 6%
