Canara Bank up for third straight session

Canara Bank rose for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 188.9, up 1.61% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 1.15% on the day, quoting at 15879.75. The Sensex is at 53333.72, up 1.15%. Canara Bank has dropped around 9.62% in last one month. Meanwhile, Nifty Pharma index of which Canara Bank is a constituent, has dropped around 4.51% in last one month and is currently quoting at 2460.4, up 1% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 25.53 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 84.27 lakh shares in last one month. The benchmark June futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 189.05, up 1.75% on the day.
