CertifyOS raises $14.5 million in funding

General Catalyst led a $14.5 million (about Rs115 crore) Series A round of funding for US-based health tech firm CertifyOS.

Upfront Ventures, Max Ventures, and Arkitekt Ventures–previous backers–took part in the round as well.

CertifyOS offers payors, providers, health systems, and digital health firms in the US API-first credentialing, licensing, enrolment, and network monitoring services. It was started by Anshul Rathi and is based in India.

Since the beginning of the year, CertifyOS has increased its crew by five times and added more than 25 new clients. It presently provides service to dozens of clients around the US.

The startup intends to use the additional funding to expand its commercial, product, and engineering teams, improve its current insurance credentialing platform and increase the range of products it offers by adding hospital credentialing, privileging, network accuracy, adequacy, and directory management.
