COMEX Copper futures edged up amid soaring equities today and currently quote at $3.47 per pound, up 3% on the day. Chinese stocks rose from three year low on stimulus hopes while the other major indices also remained well supported. European shares jumped with massive surge visible in German and UK indices. The US Stocks slipped on Monday, but the Dow capped off its best month since 1976. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 0.39%. Copper has also been boosted by the recent slide in LME inventories.
