The Latvian parliament has approved in the final reading amendments to the Law on Energy, which provides for the ban on natural gas supplies from Russia to Latvia from 1 January 2023. Also, a regulation was approved for specific cases in coordination with the regulatory institutions of another European Union (EU) member state to ensure the prohibition of natural gas supply from Russia, media reports noted.
