Crompton Greaves fixes July 8 as record date for payment of Dividend; stock skids ~3%

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has fixed Friday, July 8, 2022, as the Record Date for taking record of the Members of the Company for the purpose of declaration of dividend.

The company stated that the Dividend of Rs2.50 per equity share of Rs2 each of the Company shall be paid/dispatched on or after Monday, July 25, 2022. It shall be paid within a period of 30 days from the date of the Annual General Meeting subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company.

The company further stated that the Register of Member and Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from Saturday, July 9, 2022, to Friday, July 22, 2022 (both days inclusive).

Crompton Greaves counter slipped 2.69% at Rs318.70, against the previous close of Rs327.50 on NSE. It touched intraday high and low of Rs324.55 and Rs315.60 respectively.
