US benchmark treasury yields climbed further to hit its highest level since 2008 on Friday amid persistent worries about inflation and fears that the Federal Reserve would need to stay aggressive. Philadelphia Federal Reserve President Patrick Harker on Thursday said higher interest rates have done little to keep inflation in check, so more increases will be needed. The 10-year yields rose to near 4.3% dragging the dollar higher. The dollar index that measures the greenback against a basket of currencies was hovering near 113 mark.
