Dish TV appoints three independent directors

Dish TV has appointed three new independent directors to its board of directors, the company’s first major appointment since the retirement of its former promoter-backed chairman, Jawahar Lal Goel.

In addition, the company announced the resignation of Rajeev Kumar Dalmia, it is executive director, from the board, effective at the end of business on Tuesday.

Dalmia, however, would “continue to operate as Chief Financial Officer of the Company,” according to the statement.

Dalmia has resigned from the company’s board of directors as well as all other committees.
