Dr. Reddy's Laboratories launches Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate in US Markets; stock marginally up

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, along with its subsidiaries, has announced the launch of Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate for Injection, USP, the generic equivalent of SOLU-MEDROL (methylprednisolone sodium succinate for injection, USP) in the U.S. Market approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).

The SOLU-MEDROL brand and generic witnessed sales of approximately $144 million MAT in the US Markets for the most recent twelve months ending in February 2022 according to IQVIA Health.

Dr. Reddy’s Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate for Injection, USP, is available in 40 mg/vial, 125 mg/vial single-dose vials each carton containing 25 vials; 500 mg and 1 gm multi-dose vial each carton containing 1 vial.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is currently trading at Rs4,342.85 up by Rs25.6 or 0.59% from its previous closing of Rs4,317.25 on the BSE. The scrip has touched intraday high and low of Rs4,407.90 and Rs4,317.50 respectively.
