EasyMyTrip becomes associate sponsor of South Indian International Movie Awards 2022; stock spurts ~4.5%

EaseMyTrip, one of India’s major online travel tech platforms, has become the official Associate Sponsor of the country’s most prestigious South Indian awards. This is the first time EaseMyTrip has participated in the worldwide event, SIIMA.

The collaboration is consistent with EaseMyTrip’s aim to implement other such marketing activities as part of their local and worldwide development plan.

The 10th edition of SIIMA will gather stalwarts of Indian cinema as well as newcomers who are behind blockbuster films each year, honoring the finest in each of its award categories.

The award acknowledges and celebrates the greatest Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films and performers, as well as lifetime contributions accolades, and a few special prizes.

SIIMA has already established a global presence in countries such as Dubai, Sharjah, Malaysia, Dubai, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, and Hyderabad. The award will broadcast on Sun TV, Sun Gemini, Sun Udaya, and Sun Surya, tapping every region.

At around 1.27 PM, EaseMyTrip was trading at Rs394.50, up by 4.28% against previous close of Rs378.30 on NSE. So far, it hit intraday high and low of Rs401.90 and Rs375.50 respectively.
