Economic Buzz: Eurozone Industrial Production Rise 0.7% In June

In June 2022, the seasonally adjusted industrial production rose by 0.7% in the euro area and by 0.6% in the EU, compared with May 2022, according to estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In May 2022, industrial production increased by 2.1% in the euro area and by 1.9% in the EU. In June 2022 compared with June 2021, industrial production increased by 2.4% in the euro area and by 3.2% in the EU. In the euro area in June 2022, compared with May 2022, production of capital goods rose by 2.6% and energy by 0.6%, while production of intermediate goods fell by 0.1%, durable consumer goods by 0.6% and non-durable consumer goods by 3.2%. In the EU, production of capital goods rose by 2.1% and energy by 0.7%, while production of intermediate goods fell by 0.3%, durable consumer goods by 1.1% and non-durable consumer goods by 2.3%.Powered by Commodity Insights
