UKs total exports of goods increased by ?2.3 billion (7.4%) in May 2022, driven by a ?1.9 billion (12.7%) increase in exports to non-EU countries. Total imports of goods increased by ?2.2 billion (4.2%) in May 2022, primarily because of a ?1.4 billion (5.2%) rise in imports from EU countries. The total trade in goods and services deficit widened by ?8.6 billion to ?27.9 billion in the three months to May 2022 compared with the three months to February 2022. Powered by Commodity Insights
