EKI Energy's board nods interim dividend of Rs20 each; stock plunges ~5%

In its meeting held on March 28, 2022, the Board of Directors of EKI Energy Services Limited has recommended an Interim dividend of Rs20 (i.e., 200%) per equity share of the face value of Rs10/- each for the current fiscal year 2021-22.

The company has fixed April 8, 2022, as the record date for determining the shareholders entitled to the Interim dividend for the Financial Year record 2021-2022.

In the same meeting, the company has also approved a change in its corporate registered address and has approved the appointment of M/s Protiviti India Member Private Limited as Internal Auditor.

Post this development, EKI Energy’s stock dipped dramatically and ended 5% lower at Rs8,159.50 against its previous closing price of Rs8,588.90. It touched a high and low 8,600 and Rs8,159.50 respectively in today’s trade.
