Escorts Kubota Limited announced that the company registered sales of 9,850 tractors in June 2023, as compared to 10,051 tractors sold in June 2022.
Company’s sale of domestic tractors stood at 9,270 tractors in the period under review, as compared to 9,265 units sold in June 2022.
The company said that overall, there was a mixed sentiment amidst good rainfall and better crop prices. However, delayed monsoon led to lower demand. Moving ahead, we anticipate the demand momentum to improve in the coming months as the monsoon continues to advance across the country, accompanied by adequate reservoir levels, better liquidity, and consumer credit availability, said the company.
Tractor Exports in June 2023 were 580 units, compared to 786 units sold in June 2022.
At around 10.19 AM, Escorts Kubota was trading 0.38% higher at Rs 2,256.95 apiece, against the previous close of Rs 2,248.40. The counter opened at Rs 2,249 and touched an intraday high of Rs 2,279, so far.
