Eveready Industries' loss narrows during Q4FY22; posts PAT of Rs46.47 crore in FY22

Eveready Industries Limited reported its financial performance for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The company has reported a revenue of Rs242.15 crore in Q4FY22 as compared to Rs242.81 crore in Q4FY21. Its revenue for FY22 stood at Rs1,211.46 crore as against Rs1,253.18 crore in FY21.

The company has reported a loss before tax of Rs52.18 crore in Q4FY22 as against a loss of Rs638.01 crore in Q4FY21. Whereas for the financial year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a Profit Before Tax of Rs48.43 crore as against a loss of Rs482.43 crore in FY21.

The company’s loss after tax for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, was reported at Rs38.41 crore as compared to a loss after tax of Rs442.53 crore in Q4FY21. Its PAT for FY22 stood at Rs46.47 crore as against a loss after tax of Rs311.52 crore in FY21.

EPS for FY22 stood at Rs6.39 as compared to negative Rs42.86 in FY21.

Eveready Industries ended at Rs319.55 up by Rs0.45 or 0.14% from its previous closing of Rs319.10 on the BSE. It touched intraday high and low of Rs321.10 and Rs318 respectively.
