Exponent Energy and Altigreen join hands to accelerate adoption of EVs in India

The fastest charging electric 3-wheeler was unveiled by the two businesses, charging in under 15 minutes from zero to one hundred percent battery capacity. The new EV HD from Exponent Enabled has an 8.19 kWh e-pack, which is a brand-new battery. The car has an 80—85 km city driving range and charges at Exponent’s e-pump network in 15 minutes.

“This relationship with Exponent will now make us the fastest charging 3-wheeler that delivers flexibility and independence to our clients, and enables them to earn even more,” said Amitabh Saran, founder, and CEO of Altigreen Propulsion Labs.

Using a locally produced mobility platform, Bengaluru-based Altigreen, which garnered Rs 300 crore in Series A funding earlier this year, has created an electric 3-wheeler. According to the RIL announcement, the nine-year-old business has 26 international patents covering 60 nations.

In its initial phase, Exponent Energy is installing 100 e-pumps throughout Bengaluru and increasing the production of its e-packs. Along with Altigreen, other cities will follow.

In general, Altigreen hopes to have 3-5 automobiles in its lineup during the next two to three years. According to Saran, it plans to expand its manufacturing capacity to 40,000 units annually over the next six months and start selling in 60 cities, up from 12 at the moment, in 15 months.
