Family offices of Havells, Kamala Group, others invest $1.5 million in Sunday Design

A number of family offices, including those of Havells India (QRG Investment & Holdings), SRF Ltd NSE 2.43% (Kama Group), and coal logistics company KCT Group, among others, have invested $1.5 million in the furniture and home décor company Sunday Design.

Sunday Design, founded in 2021 by Gautam Baid, produces and markets high-end furniture in collaboration with Italian designers. The company  has expanded at a 10% monthly pace since its beginning.

By opening retail locations in Mumbai and Bengaluru, as well as an online shopping platform, Sunday Design intends to leverage the additional funding to increase both its online and physical presence.
