Fire breaks out at Balkrishna Paper Mills' raw materials godown in Thane

Balkrishna Paper Mills Ltd has informed that a fire broke out in ‘Raw Materials Godown’ in company’s factory situated at Village Ambivali P.O. Mohane, Taluka Kalyan, Dist Thane, Maharashtra around 9:40 P.M. on June 17, 2022.

The Company said in a filing, “The fire was brought under control at 3.30 A.M on June 17, 2022. None of the Workmen or other persons were injured or no other casualty occurred due to the fire accident.”

Further it added, “the production in factory was not disrupted due to the incident. We have already intimated the concerned departments and other statutory authorities about the fire accident.”

At around 9:17 AM, Balkrishna Paper Mills was trading at Rs30.75 per share lower by 2.84% on the BSE.
