Gillanders Arbuthnot and Company announces sale of land for Rs11 crore; Stock rises

Gillanders Arbuthnot and Company Limited has executed and registered a Deed of sale on June 27, 2022, effecting the sale of the Company’s land situated at Janakipuram Village, Maduranthakam Taluk, Chengalpattu District, situated within the Registration Sub District of Maduranthakam and Registration District of Chengalpattu, for a consideration of Rs11 crore.

As per the filing, the buyer is a third-party buyer who does not belong to the Promoter / Promoter Group / Group Companies and the transaction does not fall under the ambit of Related Party Transactions, the company said.

At around 11:38 AM, Gillanders Arbuthnot & Company was trading at Rs62.05 per share up by Rs0.3 or 0.49% from its previous closing of Rs61.75 per share on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs62.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs62.05 and Rs62.05 respectively so far today. The current market cap of the company is Rs131.77 crore.
