Glaxosmithkine disposes off company's trademarks pertaining to ‘Iodex' and 'Ostocalcium'; stock settles ~1% higher

GlaxoSmithKline completes the transaction related to the sale of the Company’s trademarks ‘pertaining to ‘lodex’ and ‘Ostocalcium’ brands in India to GlaxoSmithKline Asia Private Limited. The company has informed the exchanges on March 16, 2022, post-market filing.

The company has initiated the execution of this transaction on July 26, 2021, and has finally concluded this in March.

Glaxo’s stock remains in focus today as the firm completes the transaction. GlaxoSmithKline is one of the largest research-based pharma players that develops, manufactures, discovers, and markets human health products.

Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals ended at Rs1,582.25 up by Rs10.8 or 0.69% from its previous closing of Rs1,571.45 on the BSE.

Its scrip has touched day’s high and low of Rs1,607.15 and Rs1,557.50 respectively.
