GMR Airports Infrastructure Sees 1% Surge on Strong Passenger Growth in September

GMR Airports Infrastructure shares rise over 1% on Oct 13 post 23% YoY growth in passenger traffic. Passenger traffic records 23% YoY growth, 4% MoM decline to 94.16 lakh for September.

Aircraft movements grow by 14% YoY, decline by 4% MoM to 62,230 for the same period. Delhi Airport leads in passenger traffic with 14% YoY increase, followed by Hyderabad at 21% and Goa’s MOPA at 10% rise in September.

Delhi Airport and Hyderabad Airport hit record half-yearly passenger traffic in H1FY2024. GMR Airports Infrastructure, a GEPL subsidiary, reports significant growth in standalone net sales, net profit, and EBITDA for June 2023 compared to June 2022. Company is yet to announce Q2FY24 results.
