GMR Infrastructure renamed, "GMR Airports Infrastructure"; Stock rises

GMR Infrastructure Limited has informed to the exchanges regarding change in name of the company.

As per the regulatory filing, it is informed that the name of the Company stands changed to “GMR AIRPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED” from “GMR INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED” with effect from September 15, 2022.

“A fresh “Certificate of Incorporation pursuant to change of the name of the Company” dated September 15, 2022 was issued by Registrar of Companies, Mumbai”, the company said in a filing.

At around 10:17 AM, GMR Infrastructure Ltd is currently trading at Rs38.60 per share up by Rs0.15 or 0.39% from its previous closing of Rs38.45 per share on the BSE.

GMR Infrastructure Limited is an India-based holding company. The Company is primarily engaged in the development, maintenance and operation of airports, generation of power, coal mining and exploration activities, development of highways, development, maintenance and operation of special economic zones, and construction business, including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracting activities.
