Gold traded steadily on Thursday with a minor dip in the dollar index (DXY). MCX February gold futures opened positively at Rs 62,750 per 10 grams, up by Rs 243 (0.39%) from the previous day’s close.
March Silver futures traded at Rs 72,447 per kg, up by Rs 114 (0.16%), while Comex Silver futures stood at $23.140, down by $0.017 (0.070%).
Comex Gold futures traded at $2,052.10 per troy ounce, up by $9.30 (0.46%). The dollar index (DXY) slightly declined to 102.43, a 0.06% decrease, having appreciated by 1.24% over the past five sessions.
MCX Gold February closed at Rs 62,509, up by Rs 2, and March Silver futures settled at Rs 72,390, a Rs 57 (0.08%) increase.
Gold’s current price in major physical bullion markets like Delhi and Ahmedabad is Rs 63,300 per 10 grams, while 1 kg of Silver is priced at Rs 74,000.
