Google will discontinue the whole Assistant Driving Mode Dashboard that was introduced in 2019.
On November 21, Google will discontinue use of the full Assistant Driving Mode Dashboard.
There will still be a “Driving Mode,” or car-optimized interface, in Google Maps for Android.
With this modification, Android Auto for Phone Screens no longer has a direct successor for Google.
In 2019, Google revealed plans to release a voice-activated driving mode for Assistant that would not only personalize suggestions for media, calls, messages, and navigation but also bring all pertinent actions to the foreground.
