According to a statement released on Friday, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has achieved its highest-ever revenue from operations of approximately Rs 26,500 crore (provisional and unaudited) during the Financial Year 2022-23.
This represents an 8% increase from the previous year’s revenue of Rs 24,620 crore.
HAL’s Chairman and Managing Director, C B Ananthakrishnan, stated that despite supply chain disruptions caused by geopolitical issues, the company was able to achieve the targeted growth in revenue. This was made possible by increasing efforts towards indigenization and utilizing the available inventory.
After the liquidation of supplies during the Financial Year 2022-23, HAL’s order book amounted to approximately Rs 82,000 crore as of March 31, 2023.
In the Financial Year 2022-23, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) was awarded new contracts worth approximately Rs 26,000 crore, which involved the manufacturing of 70 HTT-40, 6 Do-228 Aircraft, and PSL V launch vehicles.
Furthermore, during FY23, HAL received new orders worth approximately Rs 16,600 crore for Repair, Overhaul, and Maintenance (ROH) services.
