HDFC Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “sectoral category”, named as HDFC Pharma and Healthcare Fund. This open-ended fund seeks to generate long term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related securities of Pharma and healthcare companies.
Investment strategy: The Scheme will follow a bottom-up approach to stock-picking and choose companies which are expected to derive benefit from growth in the Pharma and healthcare segment.
Asset allocation: The scheme will predominantly invest in Equity & Equity related Securities of pharma and healthcare sector.
Who should invest?
Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 5 to 7 years to diversify the portfolio in pharma sector should invest in HDFC Pharma and Healthcare Fund.

The NFO is available for subscription from September 14 to September 28. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 100/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
