8 Nov 2023 , 12:49 PM

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, is set to enter the European market with its electric scooter range in the coming year. The company’s plan includes introducing the VIDA V1 electric scooter range in Spain, France, and the UK by mid-2024.

Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, expressed confidence that the company will establish itself as a trusted brand in these European markets, mirroring its success in other parts of the world. Hero MotoCorp’s commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable planet is evident in its electric vehicle offerings.

The company is collaborating with reliable partners in the UK, Spain, and France to initiate commercial operations by mid-2024.

The initial product for these markets will be the VIDA V1 electric scooter, with plans to expand the product line to include high-capacity premium internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycles and scooters.

Hero MotoCorp is known for providing high-quality personal mobility solutions at affordable prices, making them confident about the reception of their new products in various regions.

The VIDA V1 electric scooter will be the first product introduced, starting with Spain and France, followed by operations in the United Kingdom in mid-2024. The company has identified distributors for each of these countries, such as Motogb in the UK, GD France in France, and Noria Motos in Spain.

Additionally, Hero MotoCorp unveiled new ICE scooters, the Xoom 125R and Xoom 160, which will soon be available in multiple regions. The company also introduced the VIDA V1 Pro for the European and UK markets, expanding its electric scooter offerings.

Hero MotoCorp’s electric scooters are produced at its plant in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, India. At the show, the company presented a range of high-capacity premium motorcycles, including the Concept 2.5R XTunt, and two electric vehicle concepts, Lynx and Acro, designed at the Tech Center Germany near Munich.
