Hero MotoCorp said on Monday that it will establish a product assembly plant in Nepal in collaboration with CG Motors, the company’s new distributor there.
According to a statement from the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, the facility would be located in Nawalpur district and will be capable of producing 75,000 units each year.
Operations will commence in March 2024, it said. Hero MotoCorp ventured into Nepal in 2014. Over time, the company has established itself as a dominant player in the country.
In the near future, the firm intends to strengthen its operations throughout the nation and release fnew items that will delight the market, he added.
This collaboration signifies CG Motors’ determined re-entry to the automotive sector by capitalizing on the well-known products and services offered by Hero MotoCorp,’ commented Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director of Chaudhary Group.
Hero MotoCorp distributes models such as the Super Splendour, Glamour, HF Deluxe, and Xpulse 200 motorbikes in Nepal.
