Hero MotoCorp, a manufacturer of motorcycles, announced on Wednesday that its October 2023 total sales increased by 26.5% to 5,74,930 units from 4,54,582 units in the same month the previous year. Motorcycle sales increased by 26.2% to 5,29,341 units last month from 4,19,568 units in October 2022, according to a regulatory filing from Hero MotoCorp.
It also stated that scooter sales increased by 30.2% to 45,589 units in the month under review from 35,014 units in the same month last year.
Two-wheeler exports increased by 29% last month to 15,164 units, from 11,757 units in the same period last year.
According to the company, the Harley-Davidson X440, the first luxury motorcycle it co-developed, was delivered during the Navratri holiday. One thousand units were sold through 100 dealerships in India as part of a massive delivery push.
Hero MotoCorp stated that it anticipates demand to stay positive due to the ongoing holiday season and recent premium product introductions.
