Hero Motors' sales in April down y-o-y by 5%

On Monday, Hero MotoCorp reported a 5% decrease in total wholesales year over year to 3,96,107 units in April. The largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the nation shipped 4,18,622 units at the same time last year.

Domestic sales decreased from 3,98,490 units in April 2022 to 3,86,184 units in April 2023. Additionally, exports decreased last month from 20,132 units in the same period last year to 9,923 units.

Hero MotoCorp said in a statement that the business anticipates the momentum to increase in the upcoming months as a result of a number of different factors, including a number of new product launches, strong growth in the nation’s GDP, and high customer attitude.
