Hindustan Copper resumes operation of Surda Mine; Stock surges over 1%

Surda mine of Hindustan Copper Ltd located at Ghatshila, Jharkhand has resumed its mine operations from June 07, 2022 upon renewal of lease by the Government of Jharkhand and obtaining required Environment Clearance (EC) from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of lndia.

At around 10:27 AM, Hindustan Copper was trading at Rs105.30 apiece up by Rs1.35 or 1.3% from its previous closing of Rs103.95 apiece on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs106.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs106.55 and Rs104.10 respectively so far today. The current market cap of the company is Rs10,052.21 crore.
