In October, Honda Cars India reported an increase in domestic sales of 18% to 9,543 units. In October 2021, the company recorded sales of 8,108 units in the domestic market.
The manufacturer reported that 1,678 units were exported last month, compared to 1,747 units during the same period last year.
Yuichi Murata, Director, Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars India, was quoted by PTI as saying, “This festive season has been remarkable for us as we registered a healthy growth of 18% in our domestic sales in October. Our dealer network has been buzzing with activity during this period, witnessing strong demand for all our Honda models.
The automaker was helped by the supply-side improvement to achieve this outcome, he continued.
