Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) announced on Saturday that its total wholesales increased by 5% y-o-y to 65,601 units in June 2023.
In June 2022, the automaker registered sales of 62,351 units to dealers. The company’s domestic sales increased 2% to 50,001 units last month, up from 49,001 units the previous year, according to a company statement.
Exports increased by 17% in June to 15,600 units, up from 13,350 units in the same month last year, according to the report.
According to Tarun Garg, the Chief Operating Officer of HMIL, all of their products have received positive responses from customers, with Verna, Creta, and Tucson emerging as segment leaders in the first half of CY23.
Garg also informed about the upcoming launch of the Exter SUV, indicating that the company is eagerly anticipating its introduction to the market.
