ICICI Pru Life’s assets reaches Rs 2.5 lakh crore

As customers embraced new products, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company’s assets under management surpassed Rs2.5 lakh crore.

The company began operations in December 2000 with an AUM of Rs100 crore. It surpassed Rs1 lakh crore in 14 years and more than doubled to Rs 2 lakh crore in six years.

In less than two years, the next Rs 50,000 crore arrived. ICICI Prudential Life remains the private sector leader, with a 15.7% market share of new business sum assured as of September 30.

The company believes that this achievement is an outcome of its customer-centric products, growth in new business premiums, superior customer service, industry-leading persistency ratios, and delivering superior risk-adjusted returns.
