The Indian Rupee fell further. The INR closed at 77.61 per US dollar, down 17 paise on the day. INR has continued to stay around record lows against the US dollar. The benchmark indices ended with deep losses on Wednesday with the Nifty slipping below its crucial 17,000 mark. Barring the Nifty IT index, all the sectoral indices on the NSE ended in the red.
