Indian Stocks Rally on Earnings and Fed's Rate Pause

Indian benchmark indices closed higher for the second consecutive session on November 3, as the Nifty settled above the 19,200 mark.

By the day’s end, the Sensex marked a gain of 282.88 points, climbing by 0.44% to reach 64,363.78, while the Nifty soared by 97.30 points, a rise of 0.51% to reach 19,230.60. Market breadth displayed 2215 shares advancing, 1351 shares declining, and 124 shares remaining unchanged.

Among the major gainers on the Nifty were Apollo Hospitals, Adani Ports, Eicher Motors, LTI Mindtree, and Titan Company. Conversely, Bajaj Finserv, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, SBI Life Insurance, IndusInd Bank, and Tata Steel were among the losers.

All sectoral indices closed in positive territory, with the oil & gas and realty sectors marking gains of 1-2% each.

Furthermore, the BSE Midcap index showed an increase of 0.7%, while the smallcap index surged by 1%.
