Starting on June 3, low-cost airline IndiGo will run weekly two flights between Kolkata and Bangkok. The airline announced on Monday that it would fly flights from Bangkok on Tuesdays and Saturdays and flights from Bangkok to Kolkata on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The growing demand from consumers for more international connections to Southeast Asia is met by our new Bangkok-Kolkata route. Through increased flight alternatives and hassle-free connection, we are dedicated to giving our clients a seamless travel experience, according to Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, who talked to ET.
According to a statement he released, it would start offering daily flights from Kolkata to Surat and Hyderabad on July 3.
Additionally, IndiGo would increase frequency between Kolkata and already-established locations like Bengaluru and Goa. The extra flights will start operating on June 26.
‘We will keep looking into more opportunities to fulfill our commitment to offering reasonable, timely services across our unmatched network,’ he told ET.
