IndusInd Bank and Bharat Financial Join Hands for Livestock Welfare in UP

IndusInd Bank and Bharat Financial Inclusion (a 100% subsidiary) signed an MoU with the Uttar Pradesh State Government. Collaboration focuses on livestock healthcare and welfare in Western Uttar Pradesh under the Bharat Sanjeevani Program.

Comprehensive operational support for the Cow Sanctuary in Muzaffarnagar is provided. CSR initiative named Sattvam includes a doorstep tele-medicine and mobile veterinary service.

Bharat Sanjeevani Program supports the Cow Sanctuary caring for 5,000 destitute cattle, with phased expansion plans. Collaboration with HPMPC and NDDB introduces telemedicine and veterinary services in seven districts of Western Uttar Pradesh.

Covered districts: Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Saharanpur, Hapur, Shamli, and Bijnor. Initiative includes a centralized call center in Muzaffarnagar, deploying professionals, medicines, and a mobile app for farmers. Livestock farmers can access mobile veterinary services through a toll-free number.
