Inox Wind said on Tuesday that it has collaborated with Germany-based Wind to Energy to launch a new line of wind turbine generators in the home market. Wind to Energy (W2E) will share its technology and design for 4.X MW series wind turbine generators (WTG), according to a statement from Inox Wind Ltd (IWL).
According to the business, the new series of wind turbine generators is built for India’s low wind regime. Wind to Energy (W2E) is a global provider of wind turbine technology and design services.
Inox Wind presently builds 2 and 3 MW turbines with numerous blades under existing AMSC licences. The business plans to install its 4.X MW series WTGs at various locations around the country.
A 4.X MW series WTG may be expanded with boosters, and Inox Wind plans to sell it in a variety of blade and tower configurations, the company stated.
The introduction of 4.X MW wind turbines is a significant milestone for Inox Wind as we continue our exciting expansion trajectory. These turbines may be enhanced using boosters and will be offered in a variety of configurations, said the company.
