Inox Wind secures 100 MW order from ABEnergia; stock climbs ~2%

Inox Wind, India’s leading provider of wind energy solutions, has received a 100MW wind power project order from ABEnergia Renewables Pvt Ltd (ABEnergia), an Independent Power Producer.

Inox Wind has been contracted to provide and install advanced 3.3 MW wind turbine generators with a rotor diameter of 145 m and a hub height of 120 m as per the agreement. The Dayapar site located in Gujarat’s Kutch district will be the location for the turnkey completion of the project, and it is expected to become operational by 2024.

As the necessary infrastructure facilities, such as the 220 KV pooling substation at Dayapar and the extra high voltage transmission line, have already been successfully commissioned, the company aims to complete the project on a plug-and-play basis.

Additionally, Inox Wind have been entrusted with the project’s comprehensive multi-year operation and maintenance (O&M) services under the terms of agreement.

At around 9.50 AM, Inox Wind was trading 2.05% higher at Rs 146.55, against the previous close of Rs 143.60 on NSE.
