Jai Prakash Srivastava takes charge as new CFO of BHEL

State run Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) informed the exchanges and investors that the company has appointed Jai Prakash Srivastava as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The company stated that his appointment will be effective from May 26, 2023.

Previously, Srivastava held the position of Director (Engineering, Research & Development) with additional charge of Director (Finance) in the company.

He has completed Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and holds a post graduate degree in Business Administration.

Srivastava brings an extensive 38 years of diverse and rich experience across all major functions in the company. He also spearheaded company’s Industry sector business segment as an Executive Director.

Jai Prakash holds expertise in Project Finance & Control, Receivables Management, Capital & Revenue Budgeting, Procurements, Quality, Financial Forecasting & Planning, R&D, Engineering, Human Resource Management, Cost Optimization, Digitalization, Legal, Stakeholder & Strategic in various capacities across almost all product lines of BHEL.

 Previously, Srivastava served a two-year stint as a Strategic Advisor to CMD, BHEL, in the Apex office.
