Jet Airways Ltd. failed to make a turnaround in its financial performance during the current quarter as the covid strains continue. The company has reported a loss of Rs104.19 crore for Q3FY22 against a loss of Rs44.09 crore.
Jet Airways is still working to restart its operations on its normal capacity and owing to this, it has posted a total income of Rs12 crore only during the quarter under review, far lower than the income of Rs80.48 crore in the previous corresponding quarter.
The company is anticipating inter-corporate deposits worth Rs50 crore during the upcoming quarter. It has shuttered its operations in 2019 due to travel constraints amidst the covid-19 pandemic.
Jet Airways was last trading at Rs85.40, up by Rs1.80 or 2.15% against its previous closing price of Rs83.60 on NSE. Its scrip touched an intraday high and low of Rs87.75 and Rs83.05 respectively, so far in today’s trade.
