Kansai Nerolac placed as a Leader in CRISIL's Sustainability Yearbook; stock zooms ~3%

Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. has informed that the company is placed in the ‘Leadership’ category in the CRISIL Sustainability Yearbook 2022.

The company stands among the only 14 companies recognized in this category for their ESG initiatives. Further, Kansai Nerolac has secured the highest ESG position amongst paint and manufacturing companies.

This recognition further reiterates the company’s commitment to nurturing a beautiful and healthy world for future generations.

The CRISIL Sustainability Yearbook is one of the most comprehensive annual publications based on CRISIL’s proprietary ESG framework for Indian companies.

The yearbook covers the latest global and domestic developments in the ESG space, de-carbonization of hard-to abate sectors in India, incorporation of climate risks by global financial institutions, implications of transitioning from BRR to BRSR for Indian companies, and showcases insights on ESG trends based on the scores and data of the Indian companies.

It analyzes over 575 companies across 53 sectors in India based on data, from the fiscal data.

Kansai Nerolac Paints is currently trading at Rs412.40 up by Rs9.4 or 2.33% from its previous closing of Rs403 on the BSE. The scrip touched intraday high and low of Rs413.70 and Rs404 respectively.
