According to KEC International Ltd., the company has orders totaling ₹1,304 crore from a variety of industries. The RPG Group company announced in an exchange filing on Monday that it had secured projects in the transmission and distribution market in India, SAARC, and the Americas.
Power Grid Corp. awarded the company orders for a 765 kilovolt transmission line and a 765 kilovolt GIS substation in India. Additionally, it secured orders for 220 kilovolt transmission lines in SAARC and for the provision of poles, towers, and gear throughout the Americas.
The major in engineering, procurement, and construction was able to achieve a civil order in India’s home building sector.
According to the statement, the company also secured orders for the delivery of different kinds of cables in India and other countries.
‘The renowned orders from PGCIL, which have further strengthened our India T&D order book, are especially pleasing to us as new order wins. Because of the Indian government’s persistent push to establish renewable energy projects, we are still positive about the T&D industry in India,’ said Vimal Kejriwal, managing director and CEO of KEC International.
The CEO states that the company has taken in ₹13,000 crore in orders so far this year.
KEC International’s shares ended the day 1.38% higher on the BSE at ₹622.9 a share, while the benchmark Sensex gained 1.76%.
